Frequently asked questions

What is JSONPath?

A query language for JSON, like XPath for XML. $ is the document, .name selects a key, [0] an array item, [*] every item, .. searches at any depth, and [?(@.age > 30)] filters on a condition.

Which filter conditions are supported?

Comparisons with ==, !=, <, <=, > and >=, checks whether a key exists, and combinations with && and ||. Values can be numbers, strings in quotes, true, false and null.

  • JSON to CSV converter New

Turn a JSON array into a table you can sort and filter, and download it as CSV for Excel or Google Sheets. Converts CSV back to JSON too.

  • JSON diff New
